Our memories, may they last forever , . , Remember when we were eighth graders, what a thrill it was to be, at last, in high school. We'll never forget how little, lost, and know-it-all we felt all at the same time. Our first highlighted activity of our T960 class was the eighth grade picnic. Time passed and so did we. Our freshman year was led by our president, Sandi Hill. There were many sock hops and games this year, We were very proud of the fact that this year we could be called high school students, for the eighth grade was not considered high school. As we grew, so did our homework. The sophomore year was harder than any other. Remember the frog you cut up in biology, and the geometry you never could Ggure out. Still there were many good times. One of the highlights was our Turkey Trot at Thanksgiving time, Mrs. Morrison and Mr. Guyton became our class advisors this year and led us on up to our Senior year. Our Junior Prom came finally, and Peggy Kennedy, queen, was SARAH B. University . . . the belle of the ball. Also, in our Junior year, we received our treasured class rings. Kathy Booth was our president this year. At last we became Seniors with much to look forward and much to look back on. Our Homecoming, with president, Dan Knepper, escorting the queen, Barb Coutcher, was one of the main activities of the year, The Senior Prom and picnic are nights to remember, also. There is no doubt that we are all looking forward to com- mencement. Some of us are going on to college, some to work or even marriage. But this year's commencement exercise will mean something very special to everyone. We, the class of i960 will be the last senior class to graduate from Burnham. The al- pha and omega have u number of meanings to us. We are beginning to prepare for a new life and the end of our high school days. This, also, means the beginning of a new high school, and the ending of future Seniors at Burnham. So long, Burnham forever. RICHARD GUYTON class advisor
