Burnham again this year was host for its annual debate tournament and carried oft highest honors. This year's debate topic was Resolved: that United States Foreign Aid Should Be Substantially Increased. Other 'schools competing were Van Wert, Port Clin- ton, and Whitetord. I One of Sylvania's winning teams was composed of Claude Shufelt, Margaret Norris, Joe Mills, and Ronald Bemis. Roy Mansfield, Burnham debate coach, shows Burnham's trophy to Jo Ann Ashba, president of the National Forensic League, and Marianne Baranski, president ot Debate Club.
