To live for one ' s Self is not enough ? w c JC M O let us be involved with one another! We are members of one great body— the BROTHERHOOD of Man. As brothers we must be just. But JUSTICE is an ongoing process. .:■■.■;■ • mm SHI ■:-M . ' ■--■■BBBKP Ufa ■; ' i t ■I ■m tr wisdom gained through the use of an open mind, thrmtgh insight, and through KNOWLEDGE. 9 Combined and applied, this knowledge and wis- dom create a dynamic force. A force which speaks out, is heard, and respected— Some people just deserve special recognition. They are the special individuals who inspire you to the highest achievements and console you during the deepest disappointments. They make life interesting and interesting things a part of life. They give of themselves every minute of every day. The jobs given to these individuals are tough ones, but they defeat barrier after barrier, in order to excel at them. And their jobs are so important, for they shape the lives of millions of young people. And who are these important people? They are teachers. Teach- ers who spend hours of their time preparing you for the world with their knowledge and wisdom. And one of these special people has made his mark on numerous Sylvan students with his dedication and love. And for these reasons and more we haven ' t the words to express, we respectfully dedicate the 1975 Golden Memories to . . . Mrs. Dell Domeier 1 • £c i 3 I 1 This year ' s judges for our Miss Golden Memories contest were Mr. Guy Sharpe and Mr. Ken Roberts from TV-5 News Scene. Special Thanks Annual Staff would like to dedicate this page to Marquis Sailor with all our deepest and most sincere thanks for his never ending help. As our photographer he has come to our ur- gent calls of help at the most unreasonable times, and never complaining, took endless numbers of photos and candids. At the spur of the moment he was glad to help and when things went wrong, he could always be counted on. Again, Marquis, we say thank- you. ® ®mw ®% ' ' ' • ' As graduating seniors we pause to reflect on our first high school days. We were flattered to be in high school and yet uncertain of ourselves in new surroundings. Remember the excitement of your first pep rally an d the warm feeling of actually belonging? Each year we felt more of the school to be our own, and became increasingly involved in it. As we leave, each of us finds before him a future which must be taken and indi- vidually molded. Will we like what we create? Again, we will be faced with unfamiliar surroundings and a sense of loneliness. Our memories, experiences, and learning can be called upon to guide us, but the decid- ing factor will be within ourselves — our decisions and our effort. Perhaps you are caught in indecision. But there is no more time to pause and re- flect. Each of us must choose his tools with which to carve the days ahead, and as we turn to leave, we wish each one skill, determination and success. ■' :■- ' ■■' m-z m -:, ■■' ■-.:-- __ ' V-?; ' I nifi- ' Mk . i ' ' ' l Sii wL.
