U Pt P EULTY MR. IAMES C. PAIN Mr. Pain was born in Fort Gaines, Georgia. He re- ceived his Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Georgia. In l949, he was awarded a Master of Education degree from Emory University. Since l937, he has served as teacher and counselor at several Atlanta high schools. Prior to his coming to Sylvan, he was principal of Clark Howell and I. N. Rags- dale Elementary Schools. Mr. and Mrs. Pain, the former Miss Irma Hayes, make their home in Decatur, Georgia. The Pains have three children: Iimmy, 105 Marcia, 75 and Kathy, 4. JAMES C.
