l CLASS PLAY A DOUBLE BARRELLED DETECTIVE STORY Arthur Stillman, a young man with the mysterious third-demensional qualities of a human bloodhound is sent by his mother to Hope Canyon, a mining community, to track down and punish his father's murderer, Jacob Fuller. Archy falls in love with Rosamary Hillyer, owner of the local hotel but cannot propose until he has accomplished his mission. After he has located his man and almost ruined him he finds he has the wrong person. Fetlock Jones, a cowardly orphan who claims to be a relative of the Great Sherlock Holmes plans to kill his employer, Flint Buckner who has mistreated him. Immediately after he accomplishes the act, Sherlock Holmes arrives. He mistakenly accuses Rosamary's brother but fortunately-Arch Stillman conducts an investigation and solves both murders. CLASS PROPHECY On Christmas 1981 the class of 1956 of Sycamore High School met for their first reunion in 25 years. Although not all the members were present we were able to find out the whereabouts of each one. Mr. and Mrs. QSUE GRADYJ Kenneth Will were present with their two sets of twins, who, by the way, are four very nice cute boys. Susie always did go for the boys. Every one felt quite honored to have the head-typist of Life Magazine, MARILYN CORFMAN, present. DICK EKLEBERRY and GARY BEASLEY, wearing huge coon skin coats, and had just returned from an ex- pedition to the back woods. They tell us that PAULINE MCDERMOTT and BEVERLY MILLER are living together in the small town of Goose Hollow and are making a living as high-class cab drivers. The great Naval Officer RONALD GRANDSTAFF is head of the fix-it department. You name it and he can fix it. We learn that DON HOLT, WAYNE MAHONEY, BILL GINGERY, and LARRY PANCOST are the proud owners of the Be-Bop Record Company. Their motto is Don't be a square, be a Be-Bop. MARY E. CROSS informs us that she is the Private Secretary for that great poet Longfellow. She always was real gone. Mr. and Mrs. QDONNA HUMMELJ Francis Tschanen arrived late with their private baseball team, known as the SYCAMORE INDIANS . They gave us more interesting information about other members of our class. That after 20 year's of debating JANET MASKEY has finally decided to attend Denver University and that LESTER BELL has finally made it through college, in the front door and out the back. As we continued our conversation we find that JERRY EVERHART is now the new Dog Catcher at Sycamore. He studied law at Yale. CARL HOLMAN is now running a State Highway Garage in New Jersey and his best mechanics are none other than ALTON RIEDEL and BILL BREYLEY, the worlds most famous. Mr. and Mrs. CLEATRICE McKINNEYJ Alan Karcher and their 12 children arrived late. Leatrice always did say things came cheaper by the dozen. We hear that DANNY BOGARD and GENE CORFMAN are now with the great team, The Harlem Globetrotters Their main job is to carry the water buckets. DIANNE MERCER recently made her singing debut at the Stork Club with the world famous accompanist, MARJY WALLACE. SHIRLEY KELLEY informs us she is the chief cook and diaper washer at the Bottoms Up Diaper Service and her assistants are NANCY NEISLER, JOAN HOLMAN and GERALDINE WILLIAMS. RONNIE REED and WAYNE NEIDERHAUSER who flew in for the reunion are the Chief Pilots for Guggen- heimers Air Line Service . They always did like to fly high. DONNIE GRANDSTAFF and JOLLY GEARY are Co-Producers of the great musical Ain't It True , which recently opened on Broadway. PATTY WARD is the head dress designer for the Hollywood Movies Stars and JUNE MOORHEAD is her partner JUDY ADAMS, once owner of an Oil field in Texas is now the owner of Texas . She always did do things in a big way. As the great class of 56 adjourns each feels Proud to say that he was once a student of Sycamore High School. Page 13
