Reed, R. Culver, L. Phillips, H. Weininger, V. McCormick, J. Ekleberry, N. Stover, J. Fillinger. The Sycamore F. F. A. boys have had a very successful year. We started out last fall by winning third place in county judging contests, winning hon- orable mention in Sears and Roebuck F. F. A. Chapter Contest and honorable mention in state accomplishments. Later this winter, we won first place in the county pest hunt, and a silver medal for the parliamentary contest. We had four boys try for the County Public Speaking Contest. Norman Walton made the county and also the district and goes to the state May 3l. Charles Young and John Brown are trying for State Farmer degrees this year. Birmely. The F. F. A. and F. H. A. Parent-Son and Daughter banquet was an event of April 5th, Five of the girls are receiving the State Homemakers award this year. A. have joined the Na- tional Organization of Future Homemakers of America this past year. The colors of our club therefore have been changed to red and white. The motto of our National Organization is Toward New Horizons. We received much experience and made money for our club by serving the Lion's Club dinners this Year. We helped serve sandwiches and popcorn for the Basketball Tournament. Lunch was also served at the County Music Festival.
