A RUN FOR THE MONEY The Aviator runners put in many hours during the summer on their own, and seemed to finish right in the middle of every meet. CROSS COUNTRY — BACK ROW: Sondi Larsen, Steve Morrer, Bill Mattingly, Brad Stevenson, Todd Stevenson, Rich Purdue, Scott Demar. MIDDLE ROW: Fran Schlueter; MGR., Jim Whittenbarger, Jeff Wallace, Bill Sponng, Todd Williams, Jeff Stevenson, Sue Rosneck; MGR., Matt Foraker. FRONT ROW: Dave Sporing, Cooch Manuel Lonker, Tom Nye, Bob Hayes, Rusty Winget, Mike Dick, Cooch Vmce Solvato, Eddie Kenny. SENIOR C.C. — Sandi Larsen, Dave Sponng, Steve Marrer, Todd Stevenson, Richard Purdue. Brad Stevenson hauls along at the E.H. Greene School. It was a year finishing right in the thick of things for the cross country runners of Sycamore. Bruce Woodard set the pace for the Aves, finishing sec- ond and fourth in the two E.H.L. meets at French Park. Coach Vince Salvato sees a good strong crop of freshman for the teams of the future. WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR Sycamore's second soccer season was disappointing at 0-1 1 -3, but they look for a better season in September of 1976 It wasn't exactly a year to talk about, but the effort put in to the Sycamore Soccer program in 1975 was super. Coaches Doug Gausmann and Bush had a trying season in a very tough soccer league. The finish of 0-1 1-3 didn't leave bad feelings with Sycamore though. REMEMBER ST. FRANCIS — WE’RE COMIN’ BACK Sycamore lost only two games in it's first year of water polo, both to Toledo St. Francis, and one cost them a state championship. It was a year to be proud of for the first Sycamore water polo team in history. The Avia- tors put together a fine season in which they came in NO. 2 in the state. Sycomore will go for revenge!
