The Sycamore Aviators fought their way to the top of the Eastern Hills League totem pole during their 1964 season with an 8e1e1 record. Fans2 hopes were shattered by a defeat from the biggest competitor, Indian Hili. However, the following week fans split into two groups, one following the Sycamore game, the other going to the Indian HilI-Loveland game. Loveland pulled up a rally against Indian Hill and gave them a crashing defeat. It would be hard to determine who was cheering Loveland more, Loveland 0r Sycamore, because Indian Hills3 defeat put the Aviators on top.
