Ijl f The school board is confronted each year with the problem of providing educational facilities and personnel for the boys and girls of this community. Our school board has done an excellent job of solving this problem. They have approved such things as painting the study hall, classrooms, and halls of the high school. They also provided the science rooms with some much needed equipment. During the year they proposed the pur- chase of fifty-six acres of land for 345,000 to be used as a site for a new high school. This proposal was voted on and passed by the citizens of Sycamore.
