Yell leaders pack year full of pride The Freshman cheerleaders had plenty of work to do for their first year in high school. Jobs were pep rallies, decorating, and games. Frosh prove to be true Mustangs The year ended with two victories and a tie for the fresh- man football team. Being Ponies for the first time, the team showed promise for becoming true Mustangs. The boys worked long, hard hours after school practic- ing and running new plays. Coach Boone and Hargrove devised game tactics that would help win while also, working with the boys after school. Next year, many of these boys will advance to play Junior Varsity. Another year will be spent in practicing for long tiresome hours, but this year as Ponies, the freshmen played with a spirit that has always been a part of Mustang football.
