CVAE is a program designed to prepare stu- dents for apprenticeship in various construction trades, such as carpen- try, masonry, cement finishing, electrical wiring, painting and plumb- ing. Students work for two hours each day and take four academic courses including math, English, science, and social studies. Students involved inthe Plan A pro- gram work in the resource room at different times during the day. The program allows students to work at their own level where they receive any special attention necessary. TOP Members of the CVAE class, taught by James Fullwood, paint a local resi- dence.
