Social sciences teach varied ways of life ln the Social Science Department teachers present geographic loca- tions of countries, government func- tions, and the histories of the United States and of other countries. Many students are also getting background studies in the theories of psychology and sociology. Social science stu- dents work hard on completing term papers, answering questions, and drawing maps. TOP One of the Civics classes learns about the court system by having a mock trial. Members of the class pictured are Joe Ed Franklin, Teresa Carlton, David Pevehouse, Armando Gomez, Torrey Wetsel, and Elias Gutierrez. MIDDLE Members of a Psychology class learn more about themselves by playing Group Therapy. BOTTOM Members of a World History class try to complete their assignment before the bell. 21
