OO Girls display ability in Powderpuf The girls of Sweetwater High School had their chance to take the field and see what football was really all about in the annual Powderpuff game. The game was open to any girl of SHS who wished to play. Coaches, cheerleaders, and twirlers for the event were selected from the boy's football teams. The girls were allowed two weeks of prac- tice before the game was played. The rival teams were the Hustlers, made up of Sophomores and Juniors: and the Dynamite Dames, composed of Freshmen and Seniors. The Hustlers defeated the Dynamite Dames by a score of 10-6. The game was sponsored by the Student Coun- cil and the proceeds went to the Stu- dent Council Scholarship Fund. RIGHT Cheerleaders and twirlers for the annual Powderpuff game were iBack row! Mustangs display strong offense The combined efforts of senior David Chancellor and junior Bruce Allen provided the key to the Mustang offense while Aubrey Todd, a Junior, worked off the back- board to aid the team in rebounds.
