lecbcafi on Dear Mom and Dad, The day has arrived when with much reluctance, we finally depart through the doors of Sweetest Heart of Mary. With this commencement we enter into a world where we must do our own planning and thinking. No longer can we seek your assis- tance and guidance in what to do, nor can we run to you with our petty troubles and expect you to solve our predicaments. Graduation closes the door on four years of struggle and strife and opens the por- tals to a new, exciting, and adventurous life. Religious as well as secular training will be tested, by the practical application of our Catholic education. Your sacrifices and enduringperseverance have aided us during these years. With out your interest in all our endeavours, without your cooperation in our affairs, and without your patience to cope with our demands, we could not have attained our goal. The most expensive gift could not compensate for all the love and affection you have bestowed upon us. Consequently, it is with sincere affection that we dedi- cate to you, Our Beloved Parents, this meager token from the depths of our hearts the MARIAN of 1953. Lovingly , Your Graduate pagetwo

F Ofulal' We, the Senior Class of 1953, have claimed for our Class Patron the Infant Jesus of Prague. He has been our Director, Model, Chaperone, Protector, and our Succour. We have tried toshape and mold our lives according to His way. Though our achievements apparently are not visible, we'-wish to acknow- ledge this effort by the theme of Our Yearbook - CHRISTLIKENESS - that we may continue to progress in life - Christlike in Manner, Mind, and Character. Valiantly we proceed, FORWARD WITH CHRIST!
