We share our pleasures, our triumphs, and our few disappointments for so long that we shall miss the old companionship more than we now realize. School days are the strongest association of our daily existence. In studying together we, with but one thought and purpose, learn or begin to learn in the way to live. 'Tis working with the heart and soul, That makes our duty pleasure. School days are the happy days that keep us working towards the desired goal willingly, happily, patiently, and successfully, without con- sciousness of friction or undue fatigue. Love, sympathy, tact and patience bring us into happy fellowship. We work cheerfully and happily together, loving the work and honoring ourselves and one another, one purpose com- mon to all, being, to do the best possible thing for the school and for our- selves as units in the school. Our motto, expressed or unexpressed, is, Each for all, and all for the Right! All the years of our student life we are for the most part on the receiving hand. Dear school days! Not a step of our progress is without its lessons, many of them hard to learn, and oft-times very discouraging to us, who yet know so little of the life into which we are born. But we are brave, and when the teachers smile encouragingly, we give a happy response forgetting everything else in the joy of being alive. With the smile of every good influence ever resting in richest benedic- tions upon us, our lives are indeed as calm and quiet as the peaceful flow of a little brook, which need take no thought of its own existence but flow on and on, with its face turned ever upward toward the sunshine. These are very happy days for us, progressing ever onward, because we are so impelled by our own natural impulses, and are coaxed by our faithful teachers. Held in our memories are thoughts of school There to remain as the years roll by Monuments such as no hand can design Let Fate do her worst these are relics of joy Bright memories of school days she cannot destroy Aucr CLOWACKA 32 1 4 ' : r-7: -......1,L-.11 I.-m-4: 7: . : r 1 za :1 Y 4: :: :: 1: -- ' :: : : : J t If l tl 4 tt Y t l 3 W u ' ? , , it i i 1 it ' 5 f 1 E, l xx H V B 1 P0 . t it 4 ' 1 is 9 L I . , ' 1 Memories of school days, so happy.
