Huskies Homecoming Spirit Comes to an End As the halls were covered with yellow and .green bright paper and paint, each student began to be a part ofthe Homecoming spirit which was very high this year. Home-- coming spirit started with the choosing of the Homecom- ing Court, Queen Teri Healy and escort Henry Crabtree: princesses and escorts Gritta Somatis and Larry Hylandg Jan Wilson and Jim Dragog Cathy Rainey and Richard Ballg Carrie Brown and Rodney Perkins: Marja Valtonen and Dan Riggs. Thursday night of spirit week was the biggest car rally many of the students can remember having. First, second, and third place cars were chosen. Each car then joined the train of cars which drove through main street and ended at the football field where the cheerleaders led yells and the coaches gave a pep talk to the team and to the students. Friday night the Huskies played the Central Panthers. The final score was 22 to I2 as the Huskies stomped the Pan- thers. At the after game dance, students and alumni danced to the music of Phoenix', as they celebrated the Homecoming victory, Lead singer of Phoenix Band provides music for the Homecoming Dance.
