Freshman Class History Under The direction of The Freshman Class Advisors: Mr. Johnson, Mr. Bailey, Mrs. Carroll, Miss Boise, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Stothers, Mr. Bozich, Mrs. Guey, The class had a very successful year. The class chose as Their officers for The year: Lee Land, President, Steve Cardwell, Vice President, Monica SetTy, Secretary, Winnie Winkler, Treasurer, Gary Platt and Tom Hinthorne, Sgts. aT Arms. The Freshman Class participated in many activities, gave a party for The Sophomores, sponsored Two dances, held several candy sales, had a bottle drive, and sold cup Freshman candidates for TIMBER ECHO King and Queen. Carol Ann Cline and Faylene Davenport were nominated by The Girls' League and Letterwomen Club for The Ideal Girl Con- Test. The Freshman Chorus, under The direction of Mrs. Gates, did a wonderful job aT The contest in Woodburn. Mickey Baxter, solo- ist, also received a rating aT The cornTesT. The Freshman Singers were quite active during The year. The Freshman boys participated in The following sports: basketball, baseball, Track and football.
