The history of the college and the Plan- tation before it is all around us, but it is the present and the future which must occupy us. - ,:-:%r:r:- Our world is not the one Daisy William knew. We li e under tiie threat ol world annihilation. Students at Sweet Briar, like students everywhere, have studied the philosophies and actions of men. We are told we are the hope for the futinc and for President Kennedy ' s New Frontier. We have heen nursed in the past, hut we are ready to answer the challenge of the present, while we are here and when we leave.
