Khildrcrfs ,Mcmorial Jiaspital Long to be remembered are the thirteen weeks spent in the 700 block of West Fullerton. Kids presented many new experiences to all of us. So much to be learned ....... nursing geared to tiny patients ....... the sick child and the well child ..... intake and output ..... strict isolation the Big D ....... sorrow mingled with happiness. In off duty time there were ..... the joys Of DEW fI'i6Y1dShiPS- - -trips to the beach. .. .walks in Lincoln Park. . . attempts at ice skating. . . . .. visits to the flower shows. . .donut parties embroidering, knitting and TV. All in all we gained much from our experiences during our pediatric affiliation. Perhaps in years to come we will better understand the ways of children because of days at Kids .
