A look into the past fills me with gratitude for the inspiration I have received, for the dedication of the graduates and the traditions they founded. Mere words cannot express my heartfelt thanks for knowing intimately so many wonderful nurses who are coping with today's immense tasks. The future promises to be even more challenging, but I am confident that the nurses of tomorrow will continue to utilize the inspiration of the past and strive to insure that nursing remains actively dedicated to serving mankind.
