POST-OP Patients are brought directly to this department from the operating room so that they can recover from their surgery under the direct care of ex- perienced personnel. New learning experiences are gained in this department during the senior year. INTENSIVE MEDICAL CARE After supervised experience in this area, the senior is more adapted to ca.re for the critically ill patient. I.M.C. is furnished with emergency equipment and capable personnel to give the extensive nursing care needed for these patients.
