Poets' Corner TO MISS PRALL Miss Prall from Columbus came, NVith great Domestic Science fame, To teach the girls of Swayzee town Ne'r about cooking to fuss and frown. She taught us how to wash and rub, The kitchen floor we sure did scrub, She taught us how to build a fire, So we might suit a country squire. Canning came along with the season, VVe were working for a definite reason, The cafeteria started off so fine, But didn't compel us all to dine. The menus stated day by day, Xlihat we could serve the very best way, NYe hustled and bustled, hurried and scurried, And when noon came, werelnt a bit worried. XVe'll surely thank dear little Miss Prall For the useful advice given to all, And may her fame continually spread, So she will always have butter and bread. -Locm JEsTER TRIBUTE TO THEODORE ROOSEVELT Of Theodore Roosevelt, that man of fame, 'XX'ho in our history has written his name, l have little to say My inability to write of him, To tell of his heroism, pep and vim, ls most deplorable. 'lfeddy the Great! The warrior bold! XX'ho fought in the heat or in the cold! And he always won! He went to the jungles for research work, XYhere savages live andxfevers lurk! But-he conquered! Over all obstacles he wendefl his way, And his name shall live for many a day! Until the end. -ANNA P ARSON
