But as always, the farmers are progressive, and Mildred is going to continue her education at Millersville State Normal School. hoping to be a school teacher. She believes like Plato who said, Having torches they shall give them to each other. She is agood arQst and .disp1ays.her ski-l-I in the Swatter. We believe that she will make a good art teacher. In any profession the class of '23 wishes her success. -13 FRED WILLIAM MINK i'FA'I I'Y Still icfztcrs run dr'cp. HONORS School: Reserve Basket Ball 12, 33, Captain C435 Student Council C43. Class: Dramatic Club 133. Vice-President fl, 2, fl, 43. HSEARCII ME Fred, or in other Words 'tFat 'tToots or t'Fritz -pick out the one you want and we'll drown the rest-hails from Enhaut. Tl1at's why he's so bright. Fred made his first appearance among us in the Fall of 1919, and has been here ever since. Fred carries an enormous mass of avoirdupois, but when reducing is suggested he merely shakes his head and laughs. Fred holds a distinct aversion to girls, but some day we expect to see him kneel at Cupid's altar. Fred is one of our best stud- ents and we predict a most successful future for him. 2653

EDNA IRENE' IIOCKER HBLONDIICU Shu looks quiet, but Oh My. ' Hoxolcs Literary Society: Assistant Secretary C333 Class: Treasurer tl, 2, 3, 43, Dramatic C'lub 1333 Secretary of Junior and Senior Hook Club 143. I'r's A C1:1A11c Allow us to introduce the blonde beauty of our class, Edna Irene Hooker. Hailing from Oberlin may possibly account for her beauty. GLENN LUTHER LAUDENSLAGER 'tSLH'TY Lzttle boys should be scan but not heard. HONIJRS '-345116 appears to-be one of the tmost-quiet and- sedate girls in the class but looks in many cases are deceiving. She is seen frequently with the opposite sex, especially the tall and handsome members. Her worst habit is blurt- ing out answers to questions in French class before being called upon. However, we feel sure that she will be very successful as a nurse. Class: Dramatic Club C33. LIs'rEN HERE Kin This short bow-legged little fellow is a finished product of the Enhaut Grammar School being exported to our sam-red halls in the year of nineteen hundred and nineteen. Glenn has somewhat been attracted by the fair sex the last few years. His latest song hit is as fol- low, There are no ilies on us, There are no flies on us, There may be flies on Sarah Wise, But there are no flies on us. Gee! but this gets Glenn's goat. To make a long story short We can say that Glenn is an unmerciful heart breaker, an excellent athlete, a fine all-around boy, and an excellent though absent minded student. We wish him good luck in the future. ..12m
