The Sophomores' biggest pitfall fTime Chartsll remained an unbroken tradition this year, although we had the benefit of a simplified form. However, much as we hated to admit it, classes were interesting as the teachers struggled to find new methods to drum the stuii ' into our heads. We quickly learned the meaning of uprobadio- num habebimus as well as other essential facts. The yearly trip to the University Mu- seum was uneventful expect for the presence of some college boys whom the girls looked over instead of the mummy cases, as was intended. One of the highlights of the year was the class party. Everybody pitched in and helped, the parents as well as the kids, mak- ing it the best party we had had for a long time. The skits hy the parents and by our classmates, the song and dance groups, the men s fashion show, and the charleston act were all very humorous, to say nothing of our glib masters-of-ceremonies. Besides our school work, extra-curricu- lar activities also took up much of our time. Before school in the morning, sleepy tenth graders could be spotted along with others making their way to school for chorus, band, and orchestra. By afternoon we were fully awake f?l and ready to do our share in establishing good records for our sport teams here at S. H. S. Although we have had a lot of fun as Sophomores, we are looking forward even more to our .lunior year.
