The jaunty juniors got off to a flying start hy achieying lllllfk in the A. A. Driye. The year got well underway with a group of capable class ofhcers at the helm. At the Thanksgiving Assembly the junior Quartette made its first appearance. lYith the coming of December the class was proud of lleyerly Hailey. assistant accompanist. and Mandell Much and Lonnie Stat- ton, who sang solos in the Christmas Choral Concert. During the year the class received five newcomers: Margo Mor- rison. joan Edgely. Doug lNIurray. Sandy Brown. and Bill Cope. Pat jones and john Nfaschal gave a progressive dinner party for the class, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. It provided a night ol' rare ev tertainment. Fantasy of the Sea was the theme of a dreamy junior Prom. All sorts of improbable sea creatures were in eyidencefthough it is doubtful if oyermuch time was spent looking at the decorations!! lloh Clothier, class president. entertained the class at Open House follow- ing the dance. Before Easter vacation four members of the class were received into the Honor Society. Those so honored were Peter Bloom, Barbara Cobots, John McCahan and Rose Alice Richardson. The Juniors found their year unusual and memorable. and hope that their Senior Year will proyide even more rewarding.
