GORDON WHIPPLE DOUGLAS If you see a handsome po11ce dog w1th an adormg look 1n h1s eyes you can guess that Doug 1S nearby When Doug 1S not occup1ed w1th the strenuous role of hero xn pract1cally every school play he 1S engrossed 1n some Welghfy problem for the Sen1or Cabmet of Wh1Ch he IS Pres1dent After an absence from football of several years Doug ha made a successful come back to the gr1d1ron ROLAND LEONARD EATON Bud IS one of those boys who are seen carry1ng a Cornet around the school and who helps to contr1bute march1ng mus1c for assembly Buddy s really a klller when 1t comes to blow1ng h1s vers1on of Boy Meets Horn When not occup1ed by Sw1ng Bud 1S kept busy as a baseball fan and rooter for the Navy Some of the shuts Buddy wears m1ght have 1nsp1red Study 1n Red IOHN RISSEL EFFING lack 1S a tall easy go1ng fellow Wllh blonde wavy hall' If you look at h1m qu1ckly youll probably th1nk that Flash Gordon has escaped from Mongo and IS wander1ng around the corr1dors of Swarthmore H1gh Although lack IS a wh1z on the football held hav1ng won h1s S way back 1n 38 he seems to f1nd most pleasure 1n lxfe r1d1ng w1th l1ttle brunette Mary Lou FRANCES HELEN ELDREDGE Franme IS one of those smooth dancers who p1Ck up the latest steps w1th the greatest of ease As Mademo1selle la Presidente of the French Club, Frances keeps everything in Apple Pie order, and as Student Director of the Senior Play, she has proved her capability. Her dulcet soprano lends support to the Chorus, and with shorthand and typing she should soon reach her goal-a medical secretary.
