LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT Be it known to all persons, that we, the Senior Class of 1953, of Swansboro High School, in the county of Onslow, in the state of North Carolina being of lawful age, of sound mind, memory, and judgement, having completed twelve years at said in- stitution, and our properties, with these, our successors. We do hereby, make, publish, and declare the following to be our last will and testament: The Senior Class leaves the Class of '54, we leave the title of Seniors also our dignity, hoping that they will cultivate the latter in order to be worthy of the former. t To the Class of '55, we leave all our playthings to keep them happy, To the Class of '56, we leave our good behavior and ability to study. Individual bequests are the following: Florence Gearhart leaves her ability to become the class baby and to go with new students to Lois fBabyJ Morris and Betsy fFlirtyQ Ward. Archie Page wishes to leave his ability to flirt with a substitute teacher to Mr, Fx-azelle. Russell Riggs leaves his ability to argue with the girls to James Earl Brown. Joan Mobley leaves her ability to argue with Mr. Buckleu to Grace Odum. Thelma Strain wishes to leave her natural curly hair to Beverly Guthrie. Deloris Humphrey leaves her art ability to Geraldine Odum. Sybil Dennis wishes to leave her dignified ways and spontaneous giggles to Anna Webb. Lewis Ryan wishes to leave his way with the women to Bobby Heath, seeing how he needs it. Patricia Ann Holt leaves her ability to skip study halls and classes to Edith Judy Waters. Bernice New wishes to leave her way of handling Archie, to Conchita to handle Herbert. Janice Mason leaves her music ability to Tucker Littleton. Billy Underseth leaves his ability to operate projector to Herbert Page. Cleo Watson leaves her typing ability to Edna Bright, seeing she needs it. Margaret Riggs leaves her quietness to Terry Hatsell and Charles Morton. Jannery Riggs leaves her ability to catch a Jacksonville boy to Jo Brandt. Jean Nunnery wishes to leave her ability to cut in on a Senior girl to Marion Bean. Joan Burt leaves her flirty ways and her way to get and hold her man to Darlene Brown.
