In Thankfulness, Remembrance and Dedication We thank Thee, 0 God, for thy deliverance; That we have been spared such great distress; That we have been able to help the weak and oppressed, To give food to the hungry, to the weary rest. Our hearts well up with grief akin to Thine For our men and boys who have died for us— Brave men and good, who gave themselves That we might live in thankfulness. We dedicate ourselves and all we have To peace, to justice, and to humanity; And pray that we, as well as they, May give ourselves to Thee eternally. Melvin H.
