As the deadline drew near for the last shipment of the Annual, seniors and their director were - in a quandary-no senior play had been chosen! Finally after much deliberation, UI Love Lucyw WY was chosen. The charming comedy W - which has captured the country promises to be a real success. In the play Ricky is trying to become manager of the Tropicana, in order to get out of the debt which Lucy's scatterbrain has gotten them into. ln the meantime Lucy tries to teach Ricky a lesson about hanging up clothes, so she turns the house into a sort of Tobacco Road. She and Ethel Mertz completely devastate the house just about the time Ricky brings a photographer in to take pictures for a magazine spread. And then his boss bursts in, too. From that point on everything Lucy tries to do to convince Ricky's boss that he can be a good manager backfires. but yet everything ends in a surprising and delightful conclusion. Sonic scenes typical of the ones in which Lucy decides to teach Ricky a lesson be- cause he never picks up his clothes. She turns the house into shambles and poses as a hillbilly. which almost ends in disaster. H 0711000171 i ll g Qi si, 4- dl Q 1' .n M.
