Nestled in the hills just south of Worcester in the heart of the Blackstone Valley area is our school. Though our size is small, total school population numbering 260, S.H.S. offers curriculum which broadens the students' outlook. Through the initia- tive of administration and faculty, compromising with one another, we are channeling the former rigid program of scholastics into a more progressive mode of education. In order to increase the students' knowledge in preparation for life in this fast-moving world, mini-course programs within the established curriculum have been .promoted in certain practical areas. Due to a strong alliance between the adminis- tration and student body, an informal atmosphere permeates the halls of Sutton High. The new sense of independence reflected in the faces and voices of the students, is a product of reasoning and thought pro- moted by co-operation of all those involved. With patience and understanding, this harmonious rela- tionship between students and faculty can prove to be a true asset and a milestone in the advancement of education and human co-operation.
