i Foreword It is said that in every man's life there come moments of decision, times when he must assemble all his memories of the past and dreams of the future, and upon them build his present. As we,the Class of 1961, stand on the threshold of adulthood, we feel that this is one of those moments. It is the time when we must make our first important decision, for neither our parents nor our teachers can tell us which road of life we should follow, Therefore, we have assembled the Exitus as areminder of our past years-- their joys, sorrows, successes and failures. We wish, in doing so, to say a word of thanks to the friends we've made along the way, and also to our parents and teachers , whose wisdom and understanding have led us where we are today, The Exitus is not only a reminder of the past, but a sign of hope for the future. As we read its pages, we see ambitions and the prophecy that they will come true, May all of us strive to attain our goals so that we may someday be the shining pride of our community and a credit to our Alma Mater, After we have left the halls of Sutton High, our thoughts will sometimes revert to the happy days we spent there, We shall realize that these are the years we cherish most, Many of us will never meet again, so before we leave on our journey through life may we unite in this prayer: May God guide and protect each of us on our chosen path, we. the Graduating Class of Nineteen Hundred and Sixty-One, Editor
