Foreword The Exitus, 1959, is a brief report of our days of joy and appre- hensions while at Sutton High. It is an attempt to record for the future years, those events that have seemed important in our lives--the teachers who endeavored to fill our minds with valuable knowledge-- tools to fit us for life's great drama--classmates who have made our four years enjoyable by friendships formed through study and play. We would be amiss if we did not acknowledge the great debt we owe to our parents--God's gift to childhood--without their encouragement many of us would not have gone far enough in our schooling to be included in this Exitus. As we leave Sutton High may we each keep the light of true knowledge burning brightly to the end that we may be proud of our Alma Mater and by our conduct and sincerity in life prove to be her worthy sons and daughters.
