Class Prophecy It seems just like yesterday we were walking down the aisle in our caps and gowns, yet here it is ten years later and we are all at our first class reunion, which is being held at Mr. Schwab's house. Everyone is having a wonderful time talking over old times, discussing their current jobs and what they have been doing in the past ten years. lt certainly is good to see every- one again. It seems that everyone in the class of 1958 has made his place in the world: Sutton High School has been enlarged a great deal in the past ten years. Emmet Grandone is now teaching history across the hall f.om Mr. Schwab. Emmet is not the only member of the class who entered the teaching profession. Arleen Morro teaches high school English and still does a good deal of drawing. . .After graduating from Sutton High, Ruth Dukes studied music at the Rochester Conservatory in New York. Ruthieis now teaching :nusic . Bob Dukes is now teaching in New Hampshire. . .We all know Alna Werme was very good in sports during her school years, so it does not come as much of a surprise when she tells us that she is a physical education teacher in Springfield. . .Speaking of Springfield, two other members of our class now live there, janet Goodwin and Mary Ann Konopka. Both are married and live next door to each other. Ianet still works as a hairdresser and Mendy, not only keeps busy with her family, but also works as an x-ray technician. Francine Bilodeau is a supervisor at St. Vincent's Hospital, while Marilyn and Carolyn Hare are supervisors at Memorial Hospital. A famous brain surgeon in New York has janet Ledoux for his private secretary. Elaine LaPlante went to a secretarial school after gradua- tion and now she is a medical secretary and married to a doctor. After working for a while in an office, Marjorie Leonard married. At this time, she and her husband live in Washington, D. C. Norman Bousquet is now an automobile mechanic and owns his own garage, but he is still interested in photography in his spare time. . .Like Norman, Richard Godbout also is an automobile mechanic with a garage of his own. . .Kenneth Linder has taken over his father's business after a four year term in the Navy. . . Peter Michelson now owns a large modern dairy farm and sells milk to all the large cities all over the state. There are two members of the class of 1958 who became famous singers . Ianice Hunton is a top recording artist and has a half dozen or so gold records for some of her more popular songs. Mary Lou, like Ianice, also is a famous singer and has her share of gold records. Jennie Briggs is now working for State Mutual and Ioan Moorey is a secretary for an insurance company in Boston--both girls are married. After Iune 1958, Linda Shaw went to an art school, and she is now a very famous artist. Many of her paintings have won prizes in art contests. Carol Baker is working for the government in Washington, D. C. Also working in Washington is Harold Bentley, who is a research chemist. Harold at the present time is working on plans for Outer-Space travel. Richard Landry is now a chief draftsman at Lockheed Airlines, and Francis Lavallee is a technician. . . . . Robert Swart is an electrician and is working for the General Electric Company. Goodness, what is that noise!!! It sounds like a police siren. In fact, it is! l! Wayne Vayo and George Lamothe, who are now State troopers , have just driven up with jerry Henault. They have just picked up Ierry at the airport where he works for Northeast Airlines . The party is well under way at this time. Everyone is having a wonderful time. We must not forget to extend our most grateful thanks to Mr. Schwab for being one of the best class supervisors we had in our high school years. Elaine LaPlante Ioan Moorey Iennie Briggs
