JR. HIGH For the past few years Sutton has been successfully beating their opponents. This year was no exception. The girls came out on top with a record of 7-0. They successfully beat their opponents by an average of 15 points each game. Practice began mostly by running and getting back into shape. Early this season Mr. Stones said, “I am looking forward to this year’s wrestling matches.” Later he commented, ‘‘The team did a great job.” There were some new wrestlers but a lot of wrestlers from last year came back. Paul Ulmer, who went to state in his freshman year, supported the team. Mr. Stones was happy that there were guys in all weight divisions. The wrestling team had a great year. The wrestlers that made it to state this year were Brian Johnson with a fifth place medal, Paul Ulmer, Todd Fielder and Brian Akset. WRESTLING Back: Gary Jones. Bill Houts. Galen Hansen. Keith Wach.
