SB. HIGH BOYS Coach Butler predicted that Geneva will be one of the toughest teams. When asked if we could win all or most of the games, he replied, “It doesn't have to be necessary to win all the games, but we hope to win most of them.” Coach Butler's goal this year is to win conference and go to the State Tournament. Mr. Butler decided he was not going to change the style of the defense and offense. When asked about the worst and best things about being a coach he said, “The best thing about being a coach is being able to work with young men and see them succeed. And, the worst thing about being a coach is putting up with the pressures when everybody expects you to do what THEY want you to do.” COUNTER CLOCKWISE-Reaching for the stars, Scott Scheierman pushes up for two. Doug Keller plans a play using offensive finesse. A blur of action leaves Kent Ochsner's opponents guessing!

I Mr. Moody said, “There isn’t any one outstanding player; we all play as a team.” The game coming up is against Sandy Creek. He said, “I think it will be a tough game but we’ll pull through.” During practice they work on the basic plays — not trick plays. Mr. Moody said, “The team is better than last year’s. They have more skill.” He also stated, “If the team does not win, they can handle losing. They handle losing better than I do.” Mr. Moody commented, “The team played a good game against Harvard. Not only did they win but they were really serious about winning.” Clockwise: Chris Hansen is making a long run for the Junior High Football team. The pass is incomplete for Chris Hansen. The defensive line is putting a lot of pressure on the Sandy Creek quarterback. Sutton’s offensive line is opening up a hole for Brent Mau. Front Row: Jed Bergen. Albert Ochsner. Ray Fisher.
