This year's Mustangs carried on the good quality of basketball performance shown by last year's team. The boys weren't expected to do as well as they did this season. I think we surprised some people because of all the seniors we lost from the year before, said Scott Scheierman. The boys worked together as a team to improve themselves. Ty Yost said that, The juniors on the team were good leaders. With seniors Bill Oates and Stan Rath leading the Mustangs, they stomped on team after team on their way to Districts. The boys were all excited and ready to play Sandy Creek after the Hebron game, according to Scott Scheierman and Doug Ochsner. We were confident we could beat them, said Doug. The game turned out to be a disappointment, but the boys talked it over and had a good attitude about it. Doug said that he, Appreciated that the coach prepared us in practice so he didn't have to yell at us during the games. The boys are looking forward to next year, and they feel they will have a good season with the experience they have gained. ‘ Counter Clockwise from top left. The assistant coach, Mr. Navrkal.
