KRAZY KREATIVITY What kind of madness goes on at the far end of the hall???? Only a few students really know what goes on in the Art Department. Here you can learn to draw, paint, have clay fights and insult your friends. Anyone can take art. BUT, there is one stipulation — you have to be a little bit crazy! Everyone works hard. Most people don't realize how much really goes into artwork. Producing a work of art takes a great amount of patience, time, and workl The talent you have can only be brought out with a lot of effort on your part and then perfected with help from Mr. Liska. Come on down to the far end of fhe hall and join us KRAZY KREA-TORS in the ART DEPARTMENT! Top- Maridy Fielder puts the finishing touches on her art project. Middle-Someday Mr Liska will clean up his room. Bottom- Cindy Robbins is displaying just a few of her talents 18

Mr. Butler said the most improvement this year was seen in the chorus, especially the men's section. Mr. Butler said, We have some solid basses and the tenors are learning to let it rip.'' The strengths this year were found in the blend and over-all sound. Mr. Butler said his accompanists deserved a lot of credit for the success of the vocal music area. The accompanists were Charis Spahn and Karla Nuss. Mr. Butler summed up the year well. After five years I think we have finally reached our goal of becoming a consistent choral program and all the credit goes to the students for the constant dedication and patience with a moody director! They can be very proud of what they have accomplished. 17

HOMEWORK-HOMEWORK GIVE ME A BREAK! That's what all the students at Sutton High are YELLING! Just look around you. There are books everywhere. Day after day students are taking load upon load of books home to study and cram for tests and quizzes. As Connie Davis stated, We are all dying to go out to have some fun, but do you think we can???? NNNNOOOOO, because our parents make us do our homework, which takes hours. It seems as if all teachers think their class is the most important, and never take into consideration that their pupils have homework in other classes also. All I can say is to bear with it, follow in Tracy Grothe's footsteps and CRAM CRAM CRAM!!! Tracy, as we well know, is a glutton for punishment. Every night you see her carrying a stack of books. Top Lott- Lee Spahn plays peek-a-boo with his book Top Right- This photographer found three suspects in the library talking! Bottom- Are Ginger Cummins and Kelli Leininger daydreaming or studying? 19
