Juniors Work Their Way To Top Motto: If you can dream it, you can achieve it. If you can imagine it, you can become it. Colors: Maroon and creme. Flower: Deep red rose with silver tips. Karleen Grauerholz tries to find a peaceful moment in the library. The Juniors worked hard this year trying to come up with the money for the Junior-Senior Prom. The first major money project they did was a slave sale which brought in over $630. The second major money making project the class did was their soup and sandwich supper held the night of the Sutherland-Paxton boys basketball game which brought in approximately $200. The Juniors came up with a little over $2000 for Prom. During Homecoming week the Juniors took third place overall. For Dress up day the Juniors came in second place. Theme day for the class was the Jousting Juniors which with their float brought them a second place rating. In the Song Contest the Juniors got a third place and in the Yell Contest the Juniors were able to bring in a third place. They had Class officers are: (standing) Shawn Mcllnay, Jon Moore: several money making projects such as concessions at ball (seated) Holly Elfeldt, Kathy Evans, Mindy Sandberg, and games, singing telegrams and roses for [Valentines Day, and Shelly Funk, decorating the gym for the Homecoming Dance. The Class took second place honors in the Homecoming festivities. Everyone is looking forward to Prom next year. Jamie can’t find it in his locker, either. 20
