SHS Students Set Trends in Fads ’n Fashions It wasn’t “Glamour” or “Seventeen” mag- azine that set the styles this year. It was the stu- dents from Sutherland High. Not only did they set the trends in fashions, but new words popped in, music blared out and their masterminds were chal- lenged by new video games and the Rubik’s cube. Win- ning the most popular word of the year award was “GEEK,” thanks to Larea Paulman. Let’s face it: when it comes to being in tune with the times, Sutherland’s there!
