SHS Dreams of ‘Underwater Fantasies’ Brad Kissler and Charlan Johnson reigned as King and Queen at the Sutherland Junior-Senior prom held at the Ogal- laia Holiday Inn. Mike King and Tammy White were named Junior attendants during the crowning ceremonies. The theme for the evening, “Underwater Fantasy,” was carried out in blue and silver, surrounded by various oceanic decorations. John Meissner, master of ceremonies, opened with a welcome speech. Heidi Elfeldt delivered the prayer, and then a buffet- style dinner was served. Following the meal, John Goedert gave an acceptance speech and then the class prophecies were read by Connie Thompson and R.D. Quimby. Jon Main read the class wills. Concluding the program the sophomore servers, Staci Rickett, Susan Seifer, Randy Chamberlain and Tom Wilcox, amused the group with a small skit. The evening was spent dancing to the Crazy Louie Band. Many memories were taken home when the prom ended at 1 a.m. A breakfast at Tammy White’s concluded the enjoyable evening.
