Text from Pages 1 - 120 of the 1978 volume:

♦ V DISCOVERY Discovery is the theme chosen for this annual. It is a fitting theme, because discovery means an awakening, an opening of new hori- zons, a chance to learn and grow. We, the editors of the ’78 Log, would like to thank all the teachers, administrators, and friends who helped us make these discoveries during our years of school. Editors: fas tifitfAs Exliaution DEDICATION The Seniors of '78, in dedicating their annual, wanted someone who was'unafraid to express his views: someone who could defend his beliefs and stand firm despite disa- greement. The Seniors of ’78 found such a person: one who some knew as teacher, others as coach, still others as disciplinarian, but all as a friend. This man initiated many needed changes within the school, and we will always remember him as being fair and unbiased. In this man we found wisdom, patience, and understanding; one whose heart would smile with kindness; a man full of laughter, but one also full of determination. A wise teacher and hard-working coach: a dominant principal and worthy friend; a man who represented the ideals of the Class of ’78 — Jo (in f Lchmcin 3 CLASSES: Pam Binegar, Randy Blake.
