A friend is one who stands with us in victory or defeat, when our life is harmonious or troubled, when we are seem- ingly doing right or wrong. A friend is always there regardless of the judgment or opinion of others. A friend is to be enjoyed, friendship to be cherished. The friendships formed by the members of the senior class and others will long be cher- ished. For we shall never forget our Old Friends though brow will wrinkle and hair grow gray, these friendships never know decay. £) XAroe BACK: Judy Boyer, Kim Thomsen, Business Manag ers. As you leave these halls of learning, each of you will come face to face with life on a wider, broader scale. The Class of 77 with your high qualities and abilities will be remembered and missed by those that return for the next school year. Your cooperation and efforts during your high school years is most appreciated. Best wishes are extended to each of you, for your success and happiness through each succeeding year. Comdoggie asks the girlfriend of the high school football hero to go to the prom with him. and she accepts to his amazement. Later he dreams that if he takes het to the prom, a calamity will occitr, so he stands her up. The humor and genuine human” feelings of the story make Rock Roll a nostalgias piece. Olav was elected vice-president of the senior class, was a member of National Honor Society, Boys' Letter Club, F.C.A., Radio Club, and also participated in football and track. Olav said he found little difference in the food except that in Norway pork or fish is usually served, here it is beef. Here everyone must have ice cubes in their cold drinks, a custom he anticipated taking home with him. While in Sutherland, Olav was active in many local events and was also able to travel through many areas of the United States. CiLi. Statz tZinyuituLationi.
