lA tfifecuw Pultalus b William Fulcher has become a familiar face in Sutherland. His mild manner and friendly personality have been a help to all who seek his guidance. We realize this is a very small way of saying ’’Thank you” to someone who goes beyond his office and teaching duties for the welfare of others. We, the Senior Class of '76, hope that this will show our appreciation for all the things he has done to help us solve our difficulties and for the concern he has shown in helping us to plan for our future. He gives so much of himself to us and to the entire school.

RvtfcUJWtff Cfiwiu ty This, the year 1976, means our class of 28 seniors will have the memories of graduating in the bicentennial year - two hundred years since the birth of America. Being American means that we have been blessed with many freedoms, among them the opportunity to attend Sutherland Ele- mentary and High School. We live in an America which is the fairest, rich- est, and freest of all countries; but, as we approach the tricentennial, we find a very chal- lenging and changing world. We hope that we will be able to apply our education and training in pro- viding the leadership necessary to maintain our world as one of which we can continue to be proud and which will still be one of the fairest, richest, and freest of all countries - our America. 197 AmjuuoJbQtct{fo — We wish to remember and include a picture of Kirk Minshull on these pages with our annual- staff members. Kirk, a class member for the first six grades, had shown intelligence, tal- ent, and leadership. Our memories are sad because we realize our great loss. We must all have our quota Our portion and share Of crosses to carry And no one knows God Through joy alone, It takes pain and suffering To make us His own. - Helen Syeiner Rice ' 'L xcfe t lup cudi CUb Ope ujfc£toW ' Annual Staff Editors FRONT: Dan Rasby, Junior Editor; Mrs. Bab- bitt.
