DEDICATION To the seniors of 1969, the Loeschers will remain a symbol of the pride and fulfillment we have attained throughout our years at Sutherland High. Through their guidance and interest in us as individuals, they have improved us both academically and socially. Mr. Loescher has inspired new goals and spirit to the field of athletics. Through him we learned that sports are not entirely a game of skill, but a desire from within. He has been a firm and reliable source of knowledge and a principal of distinction. Be it the long and memorable ordeal of prom or the presentation of literature, Mrs. Loescher has gained our admiration and respect. As our class sponsor for the last two years, she has diligently sought to make our endeavors enjoyable as well as profitable. Together, with laughter and persistence, the Loeschers have worked to accomp- lish the necessary and memorable elements vital to the future of young adults. Therefore, as a token of our appreciation and esteem, the class of 69” dedicates this annual to a couple who will always remain a part of us - Mr. and Mrs. Byron Loescher. We the class of ''69” have chosen reflections” for the theme of this year’s annual. Webster tells us that “reflections are images brought back by the fixing of the mind on a subject.’’ Using these pages as a mirror, we hope you too will be able to bring back images of yourself and others involved in the activities and events at S.H.S. Life itself is but a mirror through whichwe evaluate our past, relive memories, and build goals for the future. As seniors, we extend our appreciation to all those who have helped us in creating a wealth of reflections that we may carry with us always as we step into the future.
