nenoezvous In Dams The M1am1 A1rport IS crowded as usual but today due to the exc1tement of QOIIIQ to Pans the crowds don t bother me I am to fly ID a jet one of the less modern planes 1n th1s year of 1999 but st1ll It w1ll thr1ll me Flymg through the Carohnas and V1rg1n1a I not1ce the beaut1ful farmlands below My seat compamon Ltnda Kennedy who has made th1s tr1p before tells me we soon w11l see the farm owned jotntly by Marl1n Arter Larry Clouser and Ronald Hoffman As the plane landed at La Gaurdla A1rport 1n New York mechamcs Jack Hall Gerald H1rt George Lowe Gary Lukens and John Magulre rushed to the plane to make the necessary adjustments before we took off agaln DUFIIIQ my walk through the arrport term1nal I was glad to meet Sandra ACYI Janet H1rt Eun1ce Stuck and Thomas Kenee who are cler1cal workers for the 1nformat1on department of the alrport My Parls fltght 1S bemg announced now by Denn1s Snyder f1rst 1n Enghsh then French ltaltan and Span1sh The DIIOI and co ptlot Fred R1ss1nger and Mlke Hammaker who are boardtng the plane were famous A1r Force DIIOIS There IS a large representatton from the armed forces on the plane Wear1ng the A1r Force blue are LOIS Erb and Dharlys Yost Walter Barrlck Larry Doudrlck Larry Klucker Frank L1dd1ck and Donald Lxghtner are 1n the Army green. Ronald L1ttle IS the sole Navy man W1lbur Dudley and Bruce Weaver are proudly sportmg the umform of the Marmes James Hable and Gary Shaffer well known tax1 cab owners asked nurses L1nda WIISOD and Jan1ce Sload what part of the world they were off to The two gentlemen 1n gray flannel su1ts and trench coats at the back of the plane are Harr1s Keller and B111 Luckenbaugh F B I agents Peggy Crossley Mary Rumbaugh and Kathryn Clugston who s1t tn front of me are college teachers from the states who are betng sent to Pans as exchange teachers Marshall Frankl1n and Ronald Holland m1l11ona1re bachelors are dtscussmg the many problems that wealth enta11s The t1me flew by so qu1ckly and now we are over Europe The gentleman to my left Larry Holland IS po1nt1ng out to h1s large fam1ly some of the landmarks below In domg so he jostled m1l11ona1re B111 Holley who had slept the whole trxp As I fasten my seat belt at the command of the stewardesses Rosella Snyder and Mart1na Fuhrman I not1ce Le Bourget A1rport now dtrectly below us After we landed I started a tour of the c1ty and found a small charmtng s1dewalk cafe just perfect for conversat1on whtle eatmg The proprtetor Josepl1 Campl1 made me welcome Mary Boyer and Faye Freet were the WBIIFSSSBS Wh1le Phyll1s Mowers sketched my ptcture arch1tects Gerry Beck and Charles Stansf1eld re deslgned the cafe When I reluctantly left the restaurant I walked down the many avenues and not1ced the profess1onal s10ns of Ronald Smtth M D Sh1r1ey Harrold beauty salon operator Jean Benfer guttar teacher and cab1net maker Ernest L1dd1ck Just by chance Isaw Charles Hofer an englneer com1ng out of the Par1son Chemlcal Plant Charles told me R1chard Pugh Bob She1bley M1chaelK1ng and Ronald Stone were con 29 1 I , , . . . . 1 1 1 I 1 1 1 1 1 v 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 , 1 1 1 1 1 - 1 1 1 1 ' 1 1 1 1 1 1 ' 1 1 , 111 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 ' 1 1 ' 1 1 1 1 l 1 1 1 1 1 0 1 ' 1 1 5 1 I 1 1 1 F 1 1 1 1 ' 1 1

struction engineers back in the states He suggested that I may see secretaries Margie Black Connie Borcherding Joyce Durham Kay Johns Gail Mathews Eleanor Noble Lillian Rice Patricia Smith Georgianna Rlchards and Gale Martin who were spending a three week vacation in Paris enjoying the world famous sites I always wanted to visit a French school and meet a French schoolteacher but to my disappointment the French school had the American teachers Joyce Lutz Ginger Marshall Cecil Price Kaye Rodemaker Nancy Ledger Joan Spangenberg and Bonnie Spealman Rhoda Weaver was coming out of the school as I was going in Her son seemed to be gn ing the teachers some trouble The school nurses Andrea Daum and Carol Orrls were trying to hold the hysterical boy down George Paul and Wilbur Prouse ministers and Mary Jackson missionary were coming out of the Church next to the school I had the advice in finding a good hotel of an expert traveler Richard Stone who at the present time was preparing to leave for Africa to do some big game hunting The switchboard operator at the hotel was Lois Krick who told me Norman Rowe a former baseball player and now the coach of the Philadelphia Philltes was staying in the same hotel as was David Carnes of the Coast Guard Stewart Crouse contractor Barry Morris carpenter and Alois Spease draftsman That evening Charles Maguire and his orchestra entertained us at a dinner Later as we were reminiscing Alois Spease took us back through the years as he began to re read our class will Sandra Acri will my job in the guidance room to Arletta Shatto Marlin Arter will my bowed legs to Tom Mutzabaugh Walter Barrick will my short hair to Merle Jones Gerald Beck will my ability to do creative things to Lee Shumaker Jean Benfer will my guitar to all haters of hillbilly music Marjorie Black will my good attendance to all hookey players at Susquen1ta Constance Borcherding will my ab1l1ty to get along with Mr Bowers to anyone who can t Mary Boyer will my ab1l1ty to save money to my sister Carol Joseph Campll will my ab1l1ty to invent to the brave ones Larry Clouser will my ability to play fullback to Raymond Simoncelll.
