It was the largest and most colorful affair ever to be held in either of the schools. Mrs. J ones crowned our queen, Fae Spease, and Fae in turn crowned her King Consort, John Spease. Fae Chronister was Maid of Honor and Ivan Sload, Knight. Fae's court was: Ivalee Bachtel, Dixie Franklin, MaryJane Holland, Margie Bell, Tom Bolden, Tom Keller, Dick Rogers, and Wally Rogers. The Junior attendants were: Pat Stewart, Nancy Weldon, Pat Zimmerman, and Diann Roush. wr: i

- 41 A s .73and This year the band, under the leadership of Mr. Dove, appeared at many activities of im- portance throughout our school district and neighboring towns. These include: Veterans and Memorial Day parades: Marysvil1e's, Duncannon's, and New- port's halloween paradesg most of the season's football garnesg the Harrisburg Band paradeg Inaugural Parade, and a concert at Port Royal. The band loses eight players this year through graduation but there are twelve new members to take their places. Susquenita has been represented at district band this year by Ken Pipher, while 20 members were in county band.
