The cheerleaders did a splendid job of supplying the school spirit needed during the hot competition of athletic events. In this picture the girls are sporting their new uniforms. They are, Left to Right: Nancy Weldon, Diann Roush, Shirley Stoner, Mary Jane Holland, Denise Roth, Fae Spease, Pearl Spease, Mary Sanderson, and Delores Chiolo.

T J: Q 5 x ' 'lm 1 'ia Q 0, 0 Here We Go Again The Senior Play given by the Duncannon seniors proved to be quite a success. The play was held December 10 and 11 in the Duncannon School Auditorium. This three-act comedy portrayed Mr. Maxwe1l's attempt to become state legislator. His failure to secure this position almost caused the family to move. Through the kindness of his neighbors and friends he not only remained in that town but became a candidate for mayor of the city. Characters were: Charles Magee, Helen Freet, Harriet Berrier, Dennis Richards, Jane Holland, Fae Spease, Ivan Sload, Marilyn Strupp, Bonnie Daniels, Mary Lou Cunkle, John Spease, David Lukens, Ivalee Bachtel, Paul Fry, Ronald Watts, Donna Morris, Lois Charles, Jean Roye, Mildred Watts, Sally Crouse. Radio announcer: Fred Hartz Student prompters: Naome Holman and Shirley Stoner Sound effects: Charles Gelbach Stage director: James Wolpert

It was the largest and most colorful affair ever to be held in either of the schools. Mrs. J ones crowned our queen, Fae Spease, and Fae in turn crowned her King Consort, John Spease. Fae Chronister was Maid of Honor and Ivan Sload, Knight. Fae's court was: Ivalee Bachtel, Dixie Franklin, MaryJane Holland, Margie Bell, Tom Bolden, Tom Keller, Dick Rogers, and Wally Rogers. The Junior attendants were: Pat Stewart, Nancy Weldon, Pat Zimmerman, and Diann Roush. wr: i
