JUNIORS THE JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY lt .vas the first day ofa nefv experience. Susquehannock High School had finally become a reality. After years ofplanning, Codorus, New Freedom, and Glen Rock schools were united and our Junior Class is now the outgrowth of this unification. lt took us a few days to become accustomed to this new experience in our lives. Some cf us didn't care for such a large school and were always afraid that we were going to the wrorg classes. A few weeks after we got used tothe schedule, we elected class officers and new we really vverea class. Earl Sprenkle was elected president, HaroldMasenheimer, vice-president, Beulah Krebs, secretary, Allan Holland, treasurer, and Jane Anderson, historian. Octooer was a busy month. We chose our class colors, which were royal blue and white, were measured for our iackets, selected our rings, and ofcourse we had a Hallowe'er, party. Everyone that came had a good time, including the spooks and goblins. During the Thanksgiving holidays most of us were sporting flashy blue ana .vhite iackets, If not, we were wearing class sweaters or waiting for our vvooler iackets .-,fhicharri ,edtv-no 'weeks later. We began the year T952 witha skating party at Playlana. Everyone had a good time even though quite a few spills were taken. January 8 was another red letter day when we received our class rings.
