It has been a great privilege and a rare thrill to participate in the development of our present proiect. In that development, three tasks confronted us. First was the framing of agreements to insure efficient operation and an equitable distribution of the costs involved, as well as the securing of popular support. Next came the actual planning and con- struction ofthe new building. Because of its size and purpose, this took considerable time and thought, and we can all take pride in the result. A third task remains, the welding of school boards, teachers, student body, and the public into an harmonious group whose sole purpose is the betterment of our area through more and better educational facil- ities, A prophet once said, Where there is no vision, the people perish. Surely our system stands as a monument to the vision of all who have worked and strived for its realization. CHXEVS We are living in a civilization that is undergoing rapid change. Life tomorrow will be essentially different from that of today. The things we put into life are what make it worth living. High Schools are improving with each decade ond educational advantages are now the best man has known. With these advantages goes responsibility. Upon the youth of today, rests the responsibility of taking up the task and carrying cililization to higher levels. ln this obligation the graduates of Susquehannock High must not fail .
