PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE It is with a great deal of pleasure that I address you, the class of 1981, who will be our twentieth class to graduate from Susquehanna Valley High School. As you go forth, you will enter a world where, as individuals, you will be required to know several times as much in order to keep informed, as our graduates of twenty years ago needed to know. Being educated today requires more than a superficial knowledge of the arts and sci- ences. It also requires a sense of interrelationship with your fellow man such as is taught in few schools. It is my fondest hope for you, that you have acquired this '‘sense in your years here at Susquehanna Valley. For in the final analysis, education today means preparation for world citizenship; which is in short, education for survival.
